WCAG 3.0 Working Draft Updated – March 2026

The W3C Web Accessibility Initiative has released an updated WCAG 3.0 Working Draft this month,
outlining changes to structure and terminology, new sections on best practices and conformance, and
updated guidelines and requirements that have progressed to 'Developing' status. WCAG 3.0 aims to be
more understandable than previous versions and will eventually replace WCAG 2.x as the global
standard.
