MIT Launches Universal AI Learning Program for Global Audiences
MIT Open Learning has launched Universal AI, an online education program designed to help learners build AI knowledge from foundational concepts to industry-specific applications. The self-paced program includes a free introductory course and is supported by AskTIM, an AI assistant that guides learners through concepts, answers questions, and provides personalized learning support. Developed for a global, non-technical audience, the initiative covers topics such as machine learning, large language models, ethics, and decision-making. MIT says the program aims to make AI education more accessible while helping individuals develop practical skills for careers and everyday life.
